Summary:
Provide guest service and ensures safety on the mountain by patrolling to monitor for safety concerns, guest issues, trail hazards, etc.
Provides on mountain emergency medical response and transport; may assist with investigating accidents and executes chairlift evacuations as needed.
Enforces safety regulations and policies.
Maintains trails, bridges, and free ride features; assists in design, construction and set up.
Assists guests by providing mountain/resort information, directions, lost and found locations, etc.
Performs trail maintenance using hand tools.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
- Patrol green to black diamond mountain bike trails via ATV
- Perform basic maintenance on bikes such as changing flat tires, brake adjustments, and proper inspection of bikes for safety
- Assist with trail design, construction and repair & maintenance with minor supervision
- Coordinate with other departments and outside agencies
- Safely work with tools and power equipment such as chainsaws, skill saws, impact drivers etc with supervision
- Assist with conventional chairlift evacuation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to withstand inclement weather conditions for extended periods
- Able to lift 75 pounds and carry it 100 yards
- Able to hike 300 yards uphill

- Valid driver s license - Required
- Excellent communication skills - Required
- Ability to effectively work within a team Required
- Strong Decision making skills Required
- Current OEC, EMT-B or higher medical certification - Required
